Larry & Jane Stephenson - Offering private lessons in guitar, banjo, ukulele,

and mandolin on Wednesdays.

Returning to the studio this year is Larry Stephenson, a favourite with the

FACES students.  Larry and his wife Jane are recording artists and live music

performers who have warmed audiences in Canada and the U.S. with their

acoustics and harmony. The Stephenson's love to share their talent and

belief in lifelong learning with others. They regularly teach acoustic music

workshops and hold weekly jam sessions for beginning students. We are

very fortunate to have them call  the Shuswap their home!

Jane is available to teach guitar, ukulele and mandolin to beginner students, welcome Jane! Larry is able to teach guitar, banjo, ukulele and mandolin to beginner, intermediate and advanced students. 

Kelly Coubrough - Offering voice and piano lessons on Tuesdays.

Ms. Kelly Coubrough has experience in many genres of music including

opera, new music, and musical theatre. She holds an HBMus in vocal

performance from Wilfrid Laurier University (2002). Since then, she has

performed professionally across Canada with a variety of companies

including Tapestry New Opera Works (Toronto, ON), Queen of Puddings

Music Theatre (Toronto, ON), Vancouver Opera Company Chorus (Vancouver,

BC) and Opera Nuova (Edmonton, AB) and is a member of the Canadian

Actors Equity Association (CAEA). In addition to professional singing engagements, Kelly enjoys sharing

her knowledge and experience through teaching private singing lessons, master classes, choral conducting, and vocal workshops.

Ms. Coubrough has worked extensively with children and youth throughout her career in the arts and is eager and excited to shape this year’s lessons into something that will engage children in a variety of ways. Welcome Ms. Kelly.

​​Emily Wark - Offering piano lessons on Fridays. 

The studio welcomes Ms. Emily Wark to its teaching family this year. Ms. Emily started lessons in piano at the age of 8. She is currently working on her ARCT Piano Degree from the Royal Conservatory of Canada. Emily's passion is to introduce kids to music  and through their new discovery to develop a passion for it. Emily also plays the classic violin and the Celtic fiddle. Her other hobbies include figure skating and tennis.
